Summer 2010

I know it has been a long time since I have update this blog. Well the summer of 2010 has been pretty busy. Chad Joined the Navy as many of you may know. He left in June for boot camp it was a lot harder to say goodbye then I thought. But we made it through the summer, Checking the mail boxevery day to see if a letter had come. Calling mom and dad to see if they had gotten a letter. In Aug we flew to Chicago for his graduation. It was an amazing ceremony he looked so grown up. We got to spend a little bit of time with him before he flew to Cali. He is now at A school in Cali. Which is much easier we can call and email any time.





Randy and I have also stayed pretty busy this summer. With 2 dogs we don't have a lot of time for much. We made a trip to Fillmore for the 4th of July. It was pretty exciting. We took both Diablo and Cash. Between the dog fights and the cat and dog fights we did not get much relaxing done. We also put all new wood floors in our house. I love them! makes cleaning so much easier. Well I will try to do a better job of keeping this updated. My mom and Aunts are headed up here soon so I am sure I will have something to write about!

I know it has been a long time!

Well Melissa and Logan tied the knot. Here are some pictures from their wedding 8/8/2009! I know it has been forver since i have updated this thing. I think I say that everytime I write on here. Not much new is going on but I thought i would take a min and add melissa wedding to my blog.....

Diablo's Walking

Diablo and I have been trying to get back into shape. We have started walking every day with our friend Alyssia and her dog Trooper. We started out with a 2 hour walk and are now walking 4 hours each day. Diablo loves it and has already lost 7 lbs.

It as been such great weather up here that I makes it nice to say out longer. On Saturday we decided to let the dogs swim, so I took Diablo's leash off so he would not pull me in he weighs 100 lbs currently! Diablo jumped right into the water he started swimming down stream pretty quick..I called his name and he did not come back. I finally had to grab a stick and trick him into coming back. I do not think he will be swimming with out his leash on for a while.

Spring is here !

Well good news I am back and writing again.. I know it has been forever but I promise aunt Connie my life is not exciting at all I am not hiding it from you :) Any ways I am super excited spring is coming I have a few new flowers showing up in my garden... I am not sure what kind they are but I really like them ( don't mind the weeds)



We also painted our bedroom and I think it looks fabulous but you were right mom painting is hard and not as fun as it looks... I know it is missing decorations but they will come later. The pictures make it hard to tell but our accent wall is called Dark fig it is a brown with a purple tint.



anyways that is all that is new in my life currently so I will write again later !

Let it snow!

Well I know it has been forever since I have posted anything on here... (Sorry Aunt Connie) I have not really been up to much. Today was our first big snow storm. Diablo loves the snow! I hate the snow. Lets see what has been new for us. We traveled to Fillmore for Thanksgiving, My dad took the boys shooting, Most of the girls stayed at the hall to chat.. Chad, Randy and Dad built a new shed which Randy had a lot of fun doing. Randy also got to witness for the first time the Fillmore light parade. Well I will try to be better at posting. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Fall!

Well Fall is finally here, I love when the leaves change colors, this is a picture of my back yard and all the pretty trees. Well we have not been up to much these days. Randy and I did go to the sand dunes last weekend which was a lot of fun. This weekend we went to a Halloween party. I went as Jane Fonda and Randy was a Blind Ref. I do not have pictures yet. My camera would not work so I have to get them from a friend but I will post them as soon as I get them. I think the best costume of the night was Chad's he wore my raggedy Ann costume which was really short. (He wore mickey mouse shorts under it). He had long red and white stockings and a cute little bonnet I will for sure get a picture of that posted!

I have also started taking kick boxing I love it so far , I needed something to do with all my spare time so I decided why not get into shape. So if any of you care to join me let me know!
